“2020 is definitely going to be an exciting year for the Rush in NBL1. We really hit some great form in the back half of 2019 and I can’t wait to get back on the court with all the girls and build on what we developed last season. Along with playing in a brand new stadium, I can’t wait to get back into it.” Constable ended with.
Elite Teams Manager Glenn White said the inclusion of local Claire Constable showed the success of local players being able to perform in NBL1.
“It’s so important that we continue to develop our local Ballarat and Western Victorian Region players. Claire proves that the pathway is there for girls to be able to play at the NBL1 level and that other juniors are able to do it.” White said.
The 2020 NBL1 Season will commence in April with home games played at the new Ballarat Sports Events Centre.
